The Waterfall Capital of Wisconsin

December 17 / 2014 Marinette County Trail Updates:

DUN-GOOD RIDERS (snowmobile & atv):
We got about 4″ of fresh snow on Tuesday (12/16) and the temps are colder now. The Dun-Good trails are open and the groomers will be out again beginning today (12/17). We had a lot of rain and warm weather but most of the base is still intact. Be advised that you may find some wet areas and places with standing water. Conditions are rated as good. Atv’s & utv’s are allowed year round on the Dun-Good trails.

PEMENEE RIVER RIDERS (snowmobile & atv)):
Trails were in poor condition due to the warm temps and rain, but we did get 3-4 inches of fresh snow on Tuesday and cooler temps so conditions did improve. There are wet areas and standing water in places. Sections of our trail system are open for atv’s and utv’s, but not all of the trails so watch the signs. Snowmobile conditions are fair. The Menominee River trail (to Norway, MI) is only open to snowmobiles on the same trail that the ATV’s/UTV’s use during the summer months, going as far north as Hazard Road. From Hazard Road north, to the WI/MI border, the trail will NOT be open until December 15th, due to hunting by the private landowners. The Niagara to Aurora section of trail will be closed for a few more weeks also, due to hunting by private landowners. Although we have some snow, we need a lot more. If you do ride, be advised you will encounter gates and closed trails. Please respect that they are closed and do not ride around the gates. Winter ATV & UTV use is allowed on most areas of our trail but not all so watch for signs.

RANGER CITY RIDERS (snowmobile only):
The Ranger City Riders trails remain closed. Trails will not open before January 5, 2015. Atv’s & utv’s are not allowed on our trails at any time.
BAGLEY-BRAZEAU (snowmobile only) The Bagley Brazeau trails remain closed due to lack of snow and crops in the fields. Atv’s and utv’s are not allowed on our trails at any time.

Near North (snowmobile & atv): Trails remain open except for south of County Road C where logging is going on. Not grooming at this time, need more snow. Not all of our trails are open to atv’s & utv’s. Please watch the signs.
Iron Snow Shoe (snowmobile & atv): Due to lack of snow & warm weather, trails are not open South of County Road C.

River Road Riders (snowmobile only): Trails remain closed. Atv’s & utv’s are not allowed at any time on the River Road Riders trails.

Kumalong Sno-Riders (snowmobile only); Trails remain closed due to lack of snow and standing crops in the fields. Atv’s & utv’s are not allowed at any time.
